Shropshire County Council is an excellent council and aims to innovate in the delivery of an improved quality of life to local people. Due to promotion of the previous post holder we are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional to advise on landscape character and management and to develop projects that enhance the natural and historic environment in Shropshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for a team player who understands and enjoys partnership working. You will need to be able to secure external funding, provide advice on landscape issues within the statutory planning process, and promote sustainable development in corporate project teams.
You should have a degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a landscape related discipline, demonstrable relevant work experience, and be proficient with current IT applications. With keen communication skills you will be able to consistently produce high quality work.
