Countryside Agency good practice Discussion Note

This discussion note seeks to kickstart the debate regarding roads and landscapes rather than to provide definitive guidance on best practice. It encourages the integration of the highway and its structures and earthworks with the landscape in a way that responds to the special character of each individual location. It is hoped that the Discussion Note be of use and interest to practitioners involved in roads.
